Steel sheets of 50 mm thickness are bent to the maximum. Any more bending and the steel would crack. 

The tension in the middle is visible and palpable, there is the focus of this heavy sculpture.

It’s a tribute to Richard Serra, who I admire very much. He distorts the space with his large steel sheets. This could be a room in a museum (Guggenheim in Bilbao or Voorlinden in The Hague), but also outside, such as in the desert of Qatar.
